The Island

Anna Maria Island is located on the Gulf coast of Florida, between Tampa and Sarasota. It is known Worldwide for its pristine beaches and for its crystal clear waters, making it an excellent destination for both beach-goers and boaters!

The City of Anna Maria, is one of three small coastal communities on this barrier island. It exudes Old
Florida charm, with no high rise buildings, no fast food franchises and no chain hotels. The architecture on the island ranges from old-style Florida bungalows to modern water front homes. It is a tranquil coastal community with a laid-back lifestyle, boasting picturesque views, natural island habitats, white sandy beaches, and a friendly small-town community atmosphere. Connected by bridges to the mainland it has easy access to both Sarasota and Tampa international airports, along with the WorldClass arts, history and culinary culture of these great cities.

Sunsets along the beaches of Anna Maria Island are truly stunning. At Bean Point, located on the very
north end of the island you can actually watch both sun rise and sunset from the same spot!

It is a walking island, with miles of soft sand beaches and quiet residential streets. There are local
festivals, shopping on Pine Avenue, fabulous restaurants and the Anna Maria City Pier, which has
attracted visitors for over 100 years. For added convenience, the free Anna Maria Trolley goes up and
down the island, stopping every few blocks to take residents wherever they wish to go.

With its year round warm climate of sunny days and cooler nights, Anna Maria Island has always been
the perfect place for multi-generational families, looking to set roots in paradise.
