Quality Construction

The Anna Maria Dream Home stands as testimony to the benefits of a properly elevated and well-designed Florida home. Walls are formed with reinforced concrete from the ground to the eaves and are
topped off with a Plantation Slate like concrete tile roof. Hidden from view, all floor joists and custom
engineered roof trusses are tied in to the concrete walls with engineered bolts and straps tested to
provide protection for up to Category 5 hurricane winds. Similarly, the visually spectacular windows and
doors are designed and tested to exceed the latest Hurricane wind and impact codes. The integrity of
the building is further reinforced with poured concrete lintels above doors and windows and elevated
reinforced concrete floors on the lanais.

In the summer of 2024 after nearly 100 years of escaping a direct strike from a major hurricane, the
Island of Anna Maria was hit with two hurricanes, just a couple of weeks apart. Sadly the flood waters
and winds devastated single floor and poorly built homes. The Anna Maria Dream home stood up to
both the storms with absolutely no structural or even aesthetic damage, with the exception of some
swimming pool equipment and landscape shrubs which have since been replaced. Proof of the quality
engineered into this spectacular residence.
